MMO 8000 Bariatric Ultra Low

Gait disturbances and immobility issues in plus-size patients place them at an increased risk of falls. In cases where the patient is able to mobilise from the bed, it is vital that they are able to place their feet flat on the floor prior to mobilisation. An ultra-low bed with the ability to set a custom-height position can ensure every patient is able to consistently achieve this.

The Bari 10A offers a host of benefits to facilitate safer, easier, more clinically effective care and ensures safe and effortless mobilisation of the patient in bed with the touch of a button. This allows positioning from supine to sitting - achievable with only one nurse, reducing the risk of injury. Width and length extension is easy and can be carried out safely with the patient in situ, increasing space during nursing care, sleep or rest. This also provides the flexibility of reducing width easily should the patient be moved around the hospital and in and out of lifts.
