Reading 1: Isaiah 55:1-3 Thus says the LORD: All you who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come, receive grain and eat; Come, without paying and without cost, drink wine and milk! Why spend your money for what is not bread; your wages for what fails to satisfy? Heed me, and you shall eat well, you shall delight in rich fare. Come to me heedfully, listen, that you may have life. I will renew with you the everlasting covenant, the benefits assured to David. Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 145 The hand of the Lord feeds us; he answers all our needs. Reading 2: Romans 8:35, 37-39 Brothers and sisters: What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword? No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Gospel: Matthew 14:13-21 JWhen Jesus heard of the death of John the Baptist, he withdrew in a boat to a deserted place by himself. The crowds heard of this and followed him on foot from their towns. When he disembarked and saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, and he cured their sick. When it was evening, the disciples approached him and said, “This is a deserted place and it is already late; dismiss the crowds so that they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves.” Jesus said to them, “There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves.” But they said to him, “Five loaves and two fish are all we have here.” Then he said, “Bring them here to me, ” and he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds. They all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up the fragments left over—twelve wicker baskets full. Those who ate were about five thousand men, not counting women and children.

LIVING HOPE

How great the chasm that lay between us How high the mountain I could not climb In desperation I turned to heaven And spoke Your name into the night Then through the darkness Your loving-kindness Tore through the shadows of my soul The work is finished the end is written Jesus Christ my living hope

Who could imagine so great a mercy What heart could fathom such boundless grace The God of ages stepped down from glory To wear my sin and bear my shame The cross has spoken I am forgiven The King of kings calls me His own Beautiful Savior I’m Yours forever Jesus Christ my living hope

Hallelujah praise the One who set me free Hallelujah death has lost its grip on me You have broken every chain There’s salvation in Your name Jesus Christ my living hope

Then came the morning that sealed the promise Your buried body began to breathe Out of the silence the Roaring Lion Declared the grave has no claim on me (REPEAT) Jesus Yours is the victory

O COME TO THE ALTAR

Are you hurting and broken within Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin Jesus is calling Have you come to the end of yourself Do you thirst for a drink from the well Jesus is calling

O come to the altar The Father's arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ

Leave behind your regrets and mistakes Come today there's no reason to wait Jesus is calling Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy From the ashes a new life is born Jesus is calling

Oh what a Savior Isn't he wonderful Sing alleluia Christ is risen Bow down before him For he is Lord of all Sing alleluia Christ is risen (Repeat bridge)

Bear your cross, as you wait for the crown Tell the world of the treasure you've found

Eucharistic Adoration Chapel is now open! Every day from 6:00am-9:00pm

On Saturday, July 25th Bishop Robert J. Brennan celebrated The Mass of Dedication for our new Eucharistic Adoration Chapel and blessing of the Msgr. David V. Sorohan Center. And in just the rst week of being open, over 350 people made a visit with Jesus in our new Eucharistic Adoration Chapel.

That is 350 people who were able to spend time in SILENCE with their Lord, Savior, and Friend.

This is how the world will change.

There are still plenty of open spots to become a committed Adorer, especially on Saturday and Sunday. To make a commitment, head to www.stcatharine.com/adoration

If you ever can't make your commitment, requesting a substitute is easy, so there's no need to worry about vacations, appointments, etc. You can also set an end date for your commitment if, for example, your schedule changes in the Fall.

Or feel free to drop in at any time. Please note that only 6 people are permitted in the chapel at the same time, in order to ensure proper physical distance, and you must wear a face covering at all times.
