How to Measure forAluminium C Panel Extruded Louvre Fixed & Adjustable Awnings

How to measure for width:

Window width plus 600mm (300mm each side of window) - this distance each side of window can be less when installing close to the window (200mm arms).When measuring for adjustable louvre with internal control - maximum angle is 15 degrees for the control rod from the stringer to wall. To drill hole thru wall on outside of internal architrave the hole should be approximately 110mm wider than the window (between 200mm and 300mm past window is required for the panels).

How to measure for drop :

For Type A and Type B - measure from eave to bottom of window plus approximately 100mm.When face fitting to the fascia board approximately 600mm out from the window - Awning will look to short in the drop if measured just to the bottom of window,Adjustable Handle Wall Control

For Type C and Type D - measure height of window plus 100mm should give good coverage, with the adjustable louvre allow extra below window for privacy.
