Fixing a REEL Problem! Does this look familiar? Notice the line is coming out of two spots on the reel and is obviously tangled on the inside. Don’t know how take it apart and fix it? Follow these simple trouble-shooting instructions and you’ll be hassle-free and ready to reel in the next lunker in no time! 1. Remove the outer cap of the reel. You should see an inner cap as shown at left. A pull-and-turn motion is the best method for this. They can be really tight when new! 2. Grasp the reel handle securely and turn the inner cap of the reel counter- clockwise until the inner cap is removed. 3.You should now be staring at the nasty tangle. Untangle the line. You may need to strip off several feet to get past the trouble spot. STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 UNTANGLE

Fixing a REEL Problem! Does this look familiar? Notice the line is coming out of two spots on the reel and is obviously tangled on the inside.

Don’t know how take it apart and fix it?

Follow these simple trouble-shooting instructions and you’ll be hassle-free and ready to reel in the next lunker in no time!

1. Remove the outer cap of the reel. You should see an inner cap as shown at left. A pull-and-turn motion is the best method for this. They can be really tight when new!

2. Grasp the reel handle securely and turn the inner cap of the reel counter-clockwise until the inner cap is removed.

3.You should now be staring at the nasty tangle. Untangle the line. You may need to strip off several feet to get past the trouble spot.

5. Thread the untangled line through the top of the outer cap as shown at left.

4. Leave a few inches of line free and replace the inner cap of the reel by holding the reel handle securely as you turn the inner cap clockwise.

6. Replace the outer cap of the reel. Test your repair efforts.
