Pipeline burial & excavation portable high pressure and high volume packages can be deployed worldwide andused from BISSO MARINE assets or local vessels of availability; the supporting asset can be conventionallymoored or dynamically positioned.

Since most major international pipelay contractors do not have burial capabilities on-board their pipelaybarges or vessels. BISSO MARINE can perform stand alone burial projects as a subcontractor to support largediameter pipelay operations performed by other contractors.

The BISSO MARINE laybarges have on-board jetting systems for most burial requirements. In more challengingcases, the BISSO MARINE laybarges can be supplemented by the portable high pressure and high volumepackages for deeper waters, deeper burial, high vane sheer soils or sugar sandy conditions.

Other non-pipelay specific BISSO MARINE barges and vessels or third party assets can be outfitted with theportable high pressure and high volume packages, tools and sleds to support any pipeline burial or excavationproject.

The environmentally friendly BISSO MARINE Advanced Burial and Backfill Pipeline Plough is a uniquelydesigned to be a Pre-Trenching, Post-Trenching Burial and Backfill plough mitigating turbidity, seafloor orwater column impact. This unique design uses a singular chassis for two very different functions whichreduces the footprint, weight and expense of mobilizing two different ploughing tools: one for burial and aseparate for backfill.

The conversion between the two different functions is easily done in about 72 hours at or near the work siteby first placing the plough on the deck of a barge, vessel or at a shoreside facility; then by removing the ploughshare and mouldboard unit and installing the two backfill blades.

The plough can rapidly be transported worldwide by ship or moved by tug and barge. During a project theplough can be transported on the deck of a materials barge and handled by an attending lift vessel. Theplough is installed on a pipeline with diver or ROV assistance and observation. Once the plough is safely on apipeline, all operations are remotely controlled via an umbilical using electronic monitoring and operationalcontrol systems to monitor plough shares position, towing/pulling forces, pitch, roll, water depth, trenchdepth, vertical and horizontal forces on the pipeline, pipeline tracking, Mesotech and system diagnostics.
