QUALITY
FTS WAS FOUNDED IN 2002, and is an approved Training Organization (ATO) under Transport Canada and EASA Part 147. It was established on the principle that affordable high quality training is the key to a higher standard of aircraft mainte-nance, increased safety and lower operating cost for the Operator.
In JANUARY 2003, we delivered our first Transport Canada approved course. Since then, FTS has grown and now offers an extensive selection of Main-tenance Training Programs on 17 different Regional Air-craft Types. As our Company is constantly evolving, we are currently developing further maintenance courses for the medium, long haul and busi-ness jet markets.
In JUNE 2008, FTS received its EASA approval. This enabled us to offer our Maintenance Training Pro-grams to the European com-munity and beyond. FTS is currently present in 17 coun-tries.

This course is intended for individuals whose formal training is not in the field of electronics. Electrical controls and electro-nics are incorporated in almost every technical activity and all technical personnel have to deal, at least to some extent, with some aspects of electrical engineering. A basic understanding of electronics is essential to better perform your main function.
It is not an in-depth electronics course but rather a course aimed at the technicians who require an understanding of basic principals, without the assumption of any prior knowledge of the topic. The course is fast paced and as non-mathemati-cal as possible. This 5-day course focuses on teaching students a basic understanding of electrical terminology and the basics of electrical theory. We promise not to get much heavier than Ohm’s law. The students will also be introduced to basic schematics, multimeters and basic series/parallel circuits.

The Flightline Training Services troubleshooting program is an instructor lead interactive training program that is an excellent tool for learning a proven troubleshooting method and also applying troubleshooting techniques in a very realistic simulated environment.
The circuit used in this program was designed to reinforce a very logical approach to solving problems. This 3-day training program teaches a proven systematic troubleshooting approach. The process is explained using animated graphics and text. The simulation behaves as the real circuit would. You can remove wires, operate controls and perform various checks.
