Liposomes are small molecular structures with diameter between 50 and 500 millionths of a millimeter (50-500 nm). Due to the particular structure of the liposomes they have an outstanding a�nity with plasma membranes, composed of natural phospholipids, such as phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine and cholestherol esters. �eir structure is characterized by the presence of one or more phospholipidic external layers, that contain hydrophilic core in which you can insert the active ingredients in the aqueous phase.
