Engineered and repeat prints based on novels and films Brideshead Revisited and The Secret Garden. Techniques include hand screen printing with pigments and discharge, heat transfer dyeing, burnout, and sewing.

Project based on vintage lace patterns: silk lace swatches, hand and machine sewn; hand drawn digital prints and appliques.

Sustainable project using reclaimed and organic fabrics. The swatches were used as part of a group collaboration with fashion design students to create a conceptual collection of one-of-a-kind garments for the San Francisco native who likes to bike. (Group/company name: Respoke.) Color and shape inspiration include Rex Ray collages and 1960’s/1970’s dresses. Tehcniques include hand screen printing with pigment and discharge; burnout; sewing.

Children’s knitwear project inspired by Paul Cezanne’s The Bridge at Maincy; Toshiyuki Fukuda’s animal illustrations; and Donna Wilson’s product designs. Combination of hand knitting, machine knitting, intarsia, and embroidery. Technical flat drawings done digitally; illustrations done with watercolor pencils.
