    swifter payments from the company to coastalbusinesses and individuals hurt by the

    encroaching spill.

    Crist upping the states demand on the companyto $200 million. BP so far has pledged $75

    million.

    BP has developed a mechanical beach cleanercalled the Sand Shark. Its a device that cost$300,000 and it is a sand-shifting device that ishelping cleaning Florida beaches out. Thisdevice can clean wet or dry sand. It runs onhydraulic fuel.

    The HORD (Heavy Oil Recovery Device) is a devicethat is put into the Gulf of Mexico to collect the thickheavy oil into bags that is a 2-ton capacity, and thenthe oil is taken to the approved oil disposal units,these bags are later decontaminated and reused.
