utilizing the four language modalities utilizing Language Arts Through ESOL. The plan must be inclusive of listening, speaking, reading and writing. It must include all elements of a lesson plan including benchmarks, behavioral objectives preparation for the teacher, presentation of the lesson utilizing specific ESOL strategies, modeling of the lesson taking into account the various levels of language of the ELLs. The lesson must provide opportunities for collaboration among students, including specific grouping of students to provide opportunities for socialization to promote language acquisition and development. Specific "hands-on" activities to be used with the ELLs must also be presented.
