FLOTAT ION  UNITS  WITH  DISSOLVED  AIR   ‐  ALPHA  /  ALPHA+  

Flotation units with dissolved air allow to accelerate the separation of wa‐ter and suspended solids.  Compact and simple of use, they make it possible to recover at the same time floated and settling particles, and produce re‐jections with strong content of dry matter.   The ALPHA flotation units are special designed to treat high polluted waste‐water. Therefore  the ALPHA units are very suitable as pre‐treatment step for  removing of  the  suspended  solids,  fats, oil,  grease  and other  floating materials  in the waste water. Especially  in combination with coagulation / flocculation  the ALPHA unit  can  achieve  a high  rate purification of waste water.  With some modifications the ALPHA Unit can also be used as sludge thicke‐ner, oil separator, tertiary treatment, etc.
