FltPlan Go App for Android

FltPlan Go brings route and mapping featuresfrom the FltPlan website to Android tablets and hi-res phones for offline and inflight use.

Tap the Airports button on the dashboard.

FBO Information for a selected airport will be displayed. To change airports, tap the top center button. A pop-up box will appear, allowing you to select a different airport.

From the Airports menu you can select the following options:

• FBOs• Information• Frequencies• Runways• Procedures• Weather• Notams• Remarks

The Nearby Me button at the top right displays airports near your location.

The Binder button at the top right corner of the screen opens a pop-up box which allows you to add the airport you are viewing to your binder.

The Airport Diagram, Nearby Airports, and A/FD buttons are located below the Nearby Me and Binders buttons.

• Airport Diagram opens the diagram for the selected airport.

• Nearby Airports displays airports close to your selected airport

• A / FD opens the A / FD for the selected airport.

Tap the Procedures button to show the Airport Approaches, Arrivals, and Departures for your selected airport. The purple triangle means that the chart is geo-referenced.

The History button displays airports you have viewed in the past.

When you select Approaches a small red airplane icon displays your current location.

Tap the Maps icon on the Dashboard.

The menu at the top of the Maps screen shows the primary map option tabs: Basemaps, Overlays, and Edit Options.

The Basemaps and Overlays tabs let you select map layers and types of maps such as Sectionals or Velocity Weather by BaronTM.

Click the My Routes button (top center) to view a route on the map. The Edit tab lets you modify your current route by typing into the text field. It also allows you to save your route and update it on the map.

NavLogs

Tap the NavLogs icon on the Dashboard then tap the button at the top center of the screen.

A pop-up box displays NavLogs available for download or updates.

Tap the Binders icon on the Dashboard.To create a new binder tap the New Binder button at the top left of the screen.

To add files to a binder tap the Binder icon. Select the Add New button and select the file you wish to add from one of the options listed.

To delete files from your binder, select and hold the file in your binder that you would like to delete. Select Remove from the pop-up box.

Tap the Weather button on the Dashboard.

Tap the Tap to Get Wx button at the top center of the screen.

In the pop-up box, enter an airport ID in the Location section or enter a Departure and Arrival airport ID in the Enroute section.

Flight Tracking

Tap the Flight Tracking button on the Dashboard.

Tap the My Aircraft button. Enter the A / C tail number in the text box that pops up and press the Track button.

Weight & Balance

Tap the Tools button on the Dashboard then select Weight & Balance. Select the desired aircraft.*

Enter the weights of the seats, baggage, and fuel then tap Press Here When Done.

Scroll up to the graph to view the points plotted on the graph and in the table on the right. You can see all of the weight information, including Take Off and Landing Weight and C.G.

* Your aircraft must be set up on the FltPlan website first.

ScratchPad

Tap the ScratchPad icon on the Dashboard, then tap the My Doodles button on the top center of the screen.

A pop-up box will appear on screen. Tap the New Doodle button to add a Draw or Text page then select Draw or Text. Type the name of your file in the Add New Doodle pop-up box then press the Add button.

To save your doodle, look for the Save button at the bottom left of the page. The Erase and Clear buttons are to the right of the Save button.

Downloads

Tap the Downloads button on the Dashboard.

Select downloads from the various basemaps, overlays, approach charts, A / FD, and CFS (Canadian Flight Supplement).

To close or stop a download tap the X button in the Queue section on the right. You can also press the Cancel All, Clear Finished, or Retry Failed buttons at the bottom right of the page.

• FltPlan username and N number.

• Your full name.

• The type of Android device that you are using (Samsung Galaxy Note, Google Nexus 7, etc.).

• The app version.

• Where the error occurs in the application.

• A description of the error.
