The Guntner Product Calculator
With the Guntner Product Calculator MPC, we offer you more than
just an overview of prices and the complete product range. This
thermodynamic selection program enables you to calculate and
evaluate your own tailored selections based on precise and actual
thermodynamics rather than factors or multipliers. A team of experts
stand by to guide you through the selection process.
The Guntner Product Calculator MPC can be updated via the Internet
ensuring that you always have the most current and precise results.
We recommend using Guntner’s Product Calculator MPC for exact
thermodynamic calculations. Variables such as refrigerant/heat
transfer fluid, ambient conditions, material combinations, and
pressure drops are all considered by the software to most accurately
present and select products that will fit your requirements.
Available as download from our website or on CD.

Rugged units deliveR PeRfoRmance: The MFH/V, GFW, and MFD fluid cooler offering has been developed to satisfy the most demanding fluid and dry cooler applications in climates and conditions worldwide. Rugged weather-proofed units deliver stated capacities and offer longer life than competing models. Low operating costs, long life and low/no maintenance designs reduce total ownership costs and create a competitive advantage for the end user.
Quiet: Guntner standard units are quiet by design. Low noise models are even quieter and can be selected for noise sensitive environments.
flexible designs and mateRials: Since we design, engineer and manufacture our coils and assemblies we are able to offer you flexibility in coil and final design in order to optimize total performance of your system and project.
PoweRful theRmodynamic calculations: Use the Guntner Product Calculator MPC to precisely size, select and price your fluid cooler system. Call us for further support and other questions.
modulaR design:Guntner provides more models, material choices, configurations and options than any other fluid cooler manufacturer. We can provide the optimum unit for your application and footprint requirements with choices of horizontal or vertical air discharge, single or double row fans, and vertical, horizontal or V mounted coils. Units can have multiple circuits, multiple passes and can be configured to be piped in series or parallel.
vaRiety of heat tRansfeR fluids and sPecial tube/fin mateRials:Guntner Fluid Coolers are suited for a variety of heat transfer media from water, glycol-water to brine, oil and other fluids. We have standard models and configurations for standard applications and also offer special material combinations. Let us propose the proper fluid cooler for non-standard heat transfer fluids. We also offer custom circuiting and varying fin spacing.

Standard Features of Construction

FANS: External rotor motors with die cast aluminum sickle bladed impellers deliver the best combined performance for air volume, noise and efficiency available. The fan sets are supplied with a full bell mouth fan plate, optimized for highest efficiency.
The combination of high collar venturis and sickle type blade design reduces fan noise considerably making our standard units quiet when compared to others. Low noise models (optional) are even quieter.
Fan nozzle and side panels (optional) are easily removed to give full access to the coil. The wire fan guards are of welded construction, coated in a weather proof durable synthetic ?nish for maximum corrosion protection and are manufactured in compliance with strict safety standards.
Within the coil casing, each fan chamber is separated by an internal baffle to prevent windmilling during fan off-cycle.
Our units are service friendly and all fans are completely accessible from outside including the
electrical box. Fan replacement can take place quickly without risk of damage to the fins or coil.
COILS:Our proven floating coil with support tubes adds years of life to your unit by eliminating contact and wear between heat transfer fluid tubes and the end plates.
The use of expanded support tubes also minimizes flexing during crane or forklift handling, reduces assembly torsion, and provides more rigidity with less weight. All coils are pressure tested with underwater dry air.
CASING:The robust casing is manufactured out of corrosion-resistant galvanized steel sheet and finished with high quality polyurethane paint.
TWO-YEAR WARRANTY:We offer a two-year warranty on all units including fan motors.
