Flute Choir Performance at the Reading Terminal Market a big hit!
As flutists, we love nothing more than to perform, especially for an enthusiastic audience! On Sunday, October 18th, members of the FSGP played a wide variety
of flute choir music for the shoppers and diners at the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. The Market offers live music on the first and third Sunday of the month, but having a flute choir perform was a first for them! The flute choir was comprised of 12 performers - Julia Clarke, Jennifer Silipino, Karri Giamporcaro, Roberta Goren, Cynthia McManus, Rachell Tillman, Kim Robson, Dawn Pratson, Nancy Daniel, Barbara Rolnick and Renae
Block. Mike Chalmers, a special guest from the UK who was in the states visiting family, joined us on the bass flute. A good time was had by all, and we hope to make a visit to the Market an annual tradition! If you missed out on performing with us this time around, be sure to join us on December 12th as we serenade the residents of Bryn Mawr Terrace with the sounds of the holidays.
