Hello CCDC Parents, Guardians & Staff,

As some of you have met me at open house, I am a senior attending Chicopee Comprehensive High School, interning here at Chicopee Child Development Center. I am taking part in a community service project with the Thomas J. O’Conner Animal Shelter, which will be taking place until November 14th 2013. With the cold weather approaching, the animal shelter will be quickly filling up with animals. They need our help with a few basic supplies. I would like to request donations of loose change, rubbing alcohol, paper towels, cotton balls, Q-tips and cat & dog food are greatly appreciated. Donations of any amount will help to make this community service project fun and rewarding for the animals. This not only will be beneficial to animals at TJO, but to our entire student body by setting a great example in our classroom for helping out their community. A donation box will be located on the stage where you may place your donations. If you have any questions feel free to email me bdomingos@charter.net.
