Flying bird

Place the paper coloured side down on the table.

Fold it in half diagonally

Open it out..

..and flatten it down.

Label the corners A and B…

A and B close up!

Fold B into the middle foldline

Fold A to meet B at the foldline

Fold the top down to meet A and B

Fold the point back up again

Fold it in half along the foldline

And now for the tricky part so watch carefully!

Hold the base and gently pull on the ‘beak’

Pull it to form a neck

Squash the neck to make a fold.

Squash the neck to make the head

A beautiful bird – well done!
