and influencer through an elite sponsorship opportunity. From November 8-12, 2011, FlyMajor.com will be

embarking on their 6th multi-faceted TSU Homecoming Week of events. The events will be held at various venues

across the thrilling Music City landscape of downtown Nashville, TN.

In light of commemorating Tennessee State University’s 99 years of realization, FlyMajor.com has fittingly coined

this year’s city wide homecoming week’s festivities A Celebration of Black Excellence: 99 Years of Achievement.

Hosted in the heart of Music City, this weeklong series of events is catered to the over 95,000 TSU Alum, urban

professionals and HBCU aficionados that draw to Nashville for this annual celebratory occasion.

The ultimate goal of these events is to remember the Big Blue Country legacy, as well as reunite alum and

celebrate the history and culture the TSU institution has contributed to the African-American and American

communities. In addition to the contribution to this legacy, this year’s events will provide a sizable donation to The

Black Achievers Program of YMCA Middle Tennessee. The Black Achievers Program of YMCA Middle Tennessee

is a Nashville Based 501 (c3) non-profit organization that serves as the catalyst that provides exposure to present

and future educational/career opportunities, instills positive social values, ignites students' thirst for knowledge,

enables students to reach their full potential by creating opportunities for adults and the community to participate

in their lives, and empowers families to assist students in reaching higher goals.
