Shade Trends designs are created to ensure comfortable, affordable, outdoor fur-niture encompassing our outstanding exclusive designs and top of the line quality. The superior craftsmanship and excellent quality materials that go into the creation of these exclusive outdoor pieces will ensure years of enjoyment.

Shade Trends warrants to the original retail buyer a one year limited war-ranty on the structure of its umbrella and pavilion frames due to manu-facturer defects and frame failure. Shade Trends will replace the part and repair or replace the frame structure at its discretion.

This warranty will be in effect for one year from the date of the original purchase and only for the original purchaser.

Whenever possible the replacements will be in the original style and color, If said umbrella or pavilion frames are not available or discontinued, an equal replacement will be made available.

Shade Trend, will warranty its powder coat finish for a period of one year from the original date of purchase, against blistering and peeling only.

Shade Trends will warranty its fabrics, umbrella frames, weaving mate-rial, and wood products for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.

Pavilions and umbrellas are not permanent structures and must be taken down during inclement weather.

Shade Trends does not warranty its products against: rust, damaging acts of nature, normal wear and tear, chipping, exposure to discordant chemi-cals or cleaning agents, commercial use, wind damage, freeze damage, fading of fabrics, or fading or wearing of powder coat and or hand applied finishes.

Customers are responsible for freight to and from the factory and or place of repair, refinish or replacement, after the first year of this implied warranty from the original date of purchase.

Upon request, Shade Trends will require, proof of original purchase, and photographs of all claims. Shade Trends reserves the right to inspect all items of such claims by its authorized representatives.

Residential Warranty

Metal Frames

Shade Trends frames are manufactured with the highest integrity. All welded frames are crafted using the heli-arc welding process. Frames are sanded, polished, and then finished with a weather guard premium powder coated protection system. The Shade Trends frame warranty covers structural failure for a period of 7 years. Wrought iron and steel furniture is not warranted against rust.

Finishes

All Shade Trends frame finishes are created using only premium powder coat materials. All weather guard finishes are selected to insure against peeling, oxidation and blistering defects for a period of 1 year. Fading due to exposure to elements or discordant chemicals is not covered.

Hand Applied Finishes

Shade Trends Applied Finishes are applied creating the most alluring, refined frame colors. The second coat is hand applied producing unique one of a kind originality to each distinctive piece. A Urethane top coat is applied for optimum protection. The Shade Trends hand finishes are warranted against peeling and blistering for a period of one year. Fading or discoloration due to exposure to the elements of discordant or harmful chemicals is not covered.

All selected fabrics are chosen with the highest standards of weatherproofing and weather resistant characteristics, Shade Trends warranties its fabrics due to manufacturing defects for a period of one year. Cushion/Sling

Shade Trends cushions and slings are manufactured with comfort and outdoor weatherproofing in high regard. Cushions are filled with ultra resilient polyester fiberfill and foam on most seating pieces, to ensure long lasting durability. Slings are tailored using double stitched reinforcement at all major stress points. Shade Trends cushion and sling warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of one year. Fading or discoloration due to exposure of discordant or harmful chemicals is not covered.

Wicker weave/Straps

Shade Trends straps or outdoor wicker weave shall be warranted against breakage due to manufacturer defect for a period of one year. Fading and/or discoloration due to exposure to elements of discordant or harmful chemicals is not covered.

Tables/Bases

Shade Trends composite/Stone/Slate/Tile/Metal or Glass top tables and bases are warranted against structural failure due to manufacturer defect or a period of one year. Fading, chipping, scratches or glass breakage are not covered by warranty.

Umbrellas

Shade Trends umbrellas are warranted against structural failure due to manufacturer defect for a period of two years. Fabrics (see fabrics). Wind damage is not covered by this warranty.

Exclusions

Furniture, cushions, umbrellas, tables, bases, slings, pavilions used in commercial or any other non-residential applications, clearance items, display models, unreasonable or abusive acts of nature (e.g. wind, fire, freeze damage, corrosion, or discoloration, fading, staining, shipping, weathering, consumer abuse etc, is not covered by this warranty.

Shade Trends will not be responsible for; loss of use of time, inconvenience, travel, packaging or any other consequential/incidental damages. In no event shall Shade Trends/Shade Trends responsibility exceed the value of the replacement part or product. All shipping related charges are the responsibility of the consumer after the first year of this warranty. All warranties are valid from the original purchase date of the original purchaser. The warranty is not transferable. Shade Trends has the right to require a dated proof of purchase (register receipt or contract) receipt and photo pictures to support warranty claims. Shade Trends will repair or replace warranted items with the same or equal parts as available. If warranty item is not available, Shade Trends will repair or replace said item with equal merchandise.

Only use mild detergent, soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and clean water. Do not use harsh, discordant, or abrasive chemicals or cleaners. Do not use bleach. Do not use wax.
