The YFC Leadership BluePrint provides focused training on behalf of the YFC/USA national ministry strategy of accomplishing the mission through local ministry site health & growth.
It acknowledges our specialized and diverse roles in YFC and targets learning experiences accordingly.
It takes into account the costs of time and money for training and will deliver many of the learning experiences within driving distance of chapters.
Regional or national gatherings will usually offer multiple opportunities to receive training.
A directed and uniform plan for professional growth early in ones career aligns new staff to our YFC mission, heart and strategy. Subsequent training experiences encourage increasing degrees of choice and flexibility, allowing YFC leaders to customize their professional development pathways and maximize their potential as they serve the Lord.

#1 - YFC Mission Credentials Completed in the first 18 months of employment by all full-time YFC leadership A total of 15 YFC Leadership BluePrint credits
#2 - YFC Ministry Credentials After Mission Credentials, to be completed during the first 48 months of YFC employment A total of 6 YFC Leadership BluePrint credits
#3, #4, #5 - Staying fresh Mission & Ministry Credentials are renewed by completing personal growth plans every 3 years 4 YFC Leadership BluePrint credits per 3 years

Deeply personal, thoroughly coordinated, we want the YFC Leadership BluePrint to help us establish a pervasive, mentor-rich, culture of empowerment that generates far-reaching mission impact.
When sequence matters
Every staff person during their first 18 months of full-time employment will choose from one of two training pathways that will give them YFC Mission Credentials.
Completing both the Retreat and Online Orientation are required prerequisites before someone can attend Institute.
Completing Institute is a required prerequisite for all of the remaining learning experiences that are part of the curriculum.
