FACTS
Security systems have become an integral part virtually of every facet of life. Aviationsecurity, cyber security and disaster management along with fire protection and preventionin industrial and public place have also assumed increasing relevance.
With changes in the trend and character of crime besides its elements of growingsophistication, it becomes imperative that counter measures be reviewed and upgradedfrom time to time. Another factor that warrants this periodic review is the fast changingsecurity technology scenario and modus operandi of perpetrators of crime. On account ofpost 09/11 and 26/11, there is a paradigm shift in the Security Scenario. Internal security is
assuming great importance and is a major concern for all countries. Police modernisation isa priority today. The demand for security equipment has gone up manifolds in recent timesand it is estimated that India will be investing Rs.550 billion in the private security industry by2016. No wonder India today is the worlds largest importer of security and defenceequipment.
Commensurate to the increasing threat perceptions and the need to tackle it effectivelythrough a continuous process of modernisation and technology up-gradation, ITPO will beorganising the 14th India International Security Expo in Pragati Maidan, New Delhifrom October 12-15, 2011.
India International Security Expo is amongst the nations largest exhibition of goods,products and services related to homeland security, disaster management, fire safety, lawenforcements, industrial safety etc. It offers excellent business opportunities in the areas ofsecurity, surveillance, protection, public safety and combatant protection related products
for manufacturers, exporters / importers, technologists and trade visitors. The fair also aimsat facilitating transfer of technology, joint ventures, professional trade and businessinteractions.
India has acknowledged expertise in the field of information and communicationtechnology. This is now at the heart of all security related equipment and services and Indiacan provide customised software solutions for all needs.
Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India is sponsoring and supporting the IndiaInternational Security Expo. The show is also supported by the Central Para Military Forces,other security organisations and State Police Organisations. This is one event which cannotand should not be missed by both the providers and users of security solutions and services.

The 2010 Edition of this Show drew
attendance of over 22,500 visitors,ncluding 2,260 business / trade visitorsfrom India and 25 overseas countries.The visitors included high-profile buyersfrom the Central & Para-military Forces,State Police Forces, Institutional buyers,rade & industry and Policy-makers fromhe Government. Honble Home Ministerand Home Secretary were prominentvisitors to the Show. Overseas visitorscame from countries like Australia,
Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cuba,England, France, Hong Kong (RoC), Iraq,srael, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia,Nepal, Qatar, Russia, Singapore, SouthAfrica, Sweden, Thailand, UAE, the UK,USA and Zimbabwe.

ALLOCATION OF SPACE
Payment can be accepted from Foreign Exhibitors in Indian rupees at the prevalentexchange rate.
Service Tax @ 10.30% will be charged extra
Once application form with payment is received, No Refund of participation fee will bemade by ITPO.
Space allocation will be done by ITPO on first-come-first-served basis only on receipt of completed prescribed application form (duly typed) along
with 50% advance space rent payable by Demand Draft/Pay Order in favour ofIndia Trade Promotion Organisation, New Delhi. The balance payment, includingelectricity and water connection charges, if any, is required to be made two months prior tocommencement of the event or on receipt of invoice, whichever is earlier, failing which thespace earmarked will be allotted to other potential exhibitors.
The last date for submission of duly filled in (typed) application form is September 15, 2011

Forspace booking under shell scheme, aconstructed booth with parti tion panels, floor covering, one table and two chairs, five spot lights,one plug and one waste paper basket will be provided to the exhibitorsper booth of 9 Sq.Mtrs.
Layout plan - Interior design is required to be submitted to Architect Unit of ITPO forapproval prior to commencement of construction. (Minimum booking 36 sq.mtrs.)
Power Consumption charges are Rs.130/- per KW per
day. In addition, Rs.190/- per KW connection charges are also payable. Service Tax @ 10.30%will be charged extra. The rates are subject to change, as per prevailing rates charged by concernedauthorities.
Rs.5400/- per water connection and Rs.965/- per tap per day is payablefor water consumption and supply. Request for water connection is to be made at least two months inadvance after which double charges will be levied. Service tax @ 10.30% and 5% contingenciesare also payable.
ITPO will be bringing out an Exhibitors Directory which will serve as anideal reference manual of the 14th INDIA INTERNATIONAL SECURITY EXPO2011. Thedirectory will be distributed to the visitors, importers, buying agents, exhibitors and trade related
bodies. The last date for receipt of advertisements/participant profile in the Fair Guide will beSeptember 15, 2011. Entries/advertisements received after this date will not be entertained.
The rates for advertisements in the Exhibitors Directory are as under:
