This story is about something so similar yet so different, two families, two young lovers, that try to unite through their differences, where fate and destiny battle cultural differentiation, where by two young people have to fight for how they feel in a way like never before through the division of the views of their loved ones. This particular version is set in todays modern society, in the areas of Brixton, London.The capulet household have always been on rivalry agreement with the Montage household, however in this version of the story of Romeo and Juliet originally written by William Shakespeare,love was sure not to be divided or was it?. Romeo Montague was a young, handsome man, everything a girl could want, with a Caribbean background,the circumstances of Juliet Capulet having fallen for Romeo, but his cultural background leaving her parents with even more doubt and uncertainty then ever before, even with the rivalry already been going on for decades,being put aside.
