English :
Use of : “am” “is” & “are”.
“am” is always used with “I”.
We use am with I .
eg. :- I am a boy.
I am a teacher.
“is” is used with all Singular objects, animals, persons and
things.
We use “is” with he, she & it.
eg. :- He is a man.
She is a girl.

We use “are” with you, they & we.

Writing :
Note : Parents should copy the contents day wise with blue / black pen
& ask their child to complete the full page allotted for that day
with pencil. Try to avoid eraser. Child should finish one page
within 20 minutes.

Maths :
Introduction of “Mathematical Signs” :-
Note :- Video will be uploaded on whats app group.
Write set of numbers on the paper. eg.:- 8 _ 6 , 3 _ 5 , 4 _ 4
Show your child 4 _ 4. Now tell that both the numbers are equal.
Now introduce equal to sign (=).
Show them 8 and 6. Ask your child which number is greater in
these two numbers. Tell them that 8 is greater than 6. Introduce
greater than (>) sign.
Now show 3 and 5. Then tell your child that 3 is less than 5 and
introduce less than (<) sign.
Give more examples.
Introduction of “Making quarter of shapes” :-
Note :- Video will be uploaded on whats app group.
Take paper cutouts of geometrical shapes. Show your child how
to make half of particular shape. Tell that half means two equal
parts.
Now introduce them how to make quarter of given shape.
First tell that half of half means quarter.
Then tell that all the 4 quarters are equal and 4 quarters make 1
whole.
Tell your child to colour quarter of the shape.

Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.

Maharashtra is our state and its state language is Marathi.
Capital of Maharashtra :- Mumbai
Festivals celebrated :- Ganesh festival, Gudi Padva,
Aashadhi Ekadashi etc.
Traditional food items :- Modak, and Puran poli.
Folk dance :- Koli dance, Lavni.
-: Gujarat :-
Gujarat is our neighbouring state and its state language is Gujarati.
Capital of Gujarat :- Gandhinagar
Festivals celebrated :- Navratri & Kite Festival.
Traditional food items :- Khandvi, Dal Dhokli, Dhokla, Thepla,
Undhiyo etc.
Folk dance :- Garba, Dandiya Ras.

Language spoken in Punjab state is Punjabi.
Capital of Punjab :- Chandigarh.
Festivals celebrated :- Baisakhi, Lohri etc.
Traditional food items :- Makki di roti Sarso ka saag,

Folk dance :- Bhangda.
