Apply online via www.graduate.sjp.ac.lk
Submit duly filled applications downloaded from the website with the payment slip of the application fee of Rs.1,000/= and other required documents on or before 31st of January 2020. Deposit the application fee to the FMSC

at any branch of People’s Bank.
Selection Procedure
All applications received will be
screened and those applicants who
fulfill the admission requirements will
be called for an interview.
In case there are many applicants, the
selection will be done on the results of
an aptitude test.

Programme Objectives This program is designed for policy analysts, academics and professionals in the public and private sectors and also non-governmental organizations in order to enhance knowledge, competencies and attitudes in the spheres of Public Policy and Public Management.

Management Education” in the National University
system in Sri Lanka offers the Master of Science in
Public Policy and Management by the Faculty of
Graduate Studies through the Department of Public
Administration of the Faculty of Management
Studies and Commerce.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to this program, an applicant
must possess one of the following qualifications and a
good working knowledge of English
One year Master in Public Management Degree
from a recognized university; or
A Special Bachelor’s Degree with a class standing
in Management from a recognized university; or
A General Bachelor’s Degree with a First Class or
a Second Class (Upper Division) standing in
Management from a recognized university; or
A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject area from a
recognized university with three years of post-
qualifying experience in the related field/s; or
A Postgraduate Diploma of a duration of not less
than one year or a Higher Degree in Management
Studies from a recognized university; or
Professional qualification/ membership with
three (03) years of post-qualifying experience
approved by the Senate (SLIATE, HNDA,
HNDM/C, ACASL, CIMA, ACCA, CIE, Attorney at
Law); or
Professional qualification with five (05) years of
post-qualifying experience approved by the
Senate (SLIM, IPM, CIM, AIB).
