FOR COMPLETE PEACE OF MIND
AROUND THE CLOCK SERVICE DELIVERED BY US, NO -ONE ELSE
There is an increasing trend for practices to outsource
their emergency work to other service providers leading
to your pet being seen by vets and nurses who neither
know your pets nor have they access to their clinical
notes when it’s needed most. You may not realise that
some practices offering a “24 hour service” will transfer
sick pets to another out of hours veterinary care provider,
outside normal surgery hours, until they reopen for
business and the pets are transferred back again -
something we fundamentally think is wrong!
We pride ourselves on delivering continuity of care
24 hours a day, EVERY DAY.
WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE US
We’re a long-established Hospital with years of experience, dedicated to the health
care of your pet.
We’re independently owned. Our vets are best placed to help inform what is best for
your pet - not a distant board of accountants.
Our experienced clinical team of 11 vets is supported by a 14-strong nursing team
Our front of house and administrative support teams are focussed on ensuring the
best possible experience for you and your pets.
We provide preventative health care and packages to help you spread the cost.
We are equipped to cater for all in-patient needs should they be required
IT MATTERS TO US AND OUR CLIENTS TELL US IT MATTERS TO THEM TOO
BEWARE - NOT ALL VETS’ EMERGENCY SERVICES ARE THE SAME!
We also have branch
clinics at Nailsworth,
Royal Wootton Bassett

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT - 01793 852458
For your convenience, this branch is also open on Saturday mornings

MALMESBURY - High Street, SN16 9AU
Our tier 3 Veterinary Hospital in Malmesbury was
extended in 2016. In addition to their Hospital
schedule, our vets have regular clinics at specific
branches to ensure that you and your pet build a
relationship with them more
quickly. In turn, your vet can
provide complete continuity of
care should your pet ever need to
visit the Hospital as an in-patient.
TETBURY - Church Street, GL8 8JG
Nestled in the heart of the town and located just 5 miles from
our main hospital in Malmesbury, you’ll find us directly
opposite the church with public parking just around the
corner. We’re a popular drop in for our regulars when out
walking their pets even if veterinary attention is not needed!
Our clients often come in just for us to make a fuss of their
pet or indeed to treat them to a toy from our shop. There’s
always a warm welcome.
NAILSWORTH - 01453 705560
TETBURY - 01666 503531
All our branches provide the facility to collect medicines for any
other animals you may keep too. Whether it’s for livestock or you
have horses, we have separate veterinary teams dedicated to
keeping your animals fit and healthy.
AS AN INDEPENDENT VETERINARY GROUP WE CAN MAKE THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOUR ANIMAL
NAILSWORTH - George Street, GL6 0AG
As the only non-corporate veterinary clinic in the area our
advice and health care comes from decisions made within the
practice and made by veterinary surgeons, whose prime focus
is on the standard of animal care and nothing else.
We offer a full clinical service here with consultations, surgical
procedures, dental, X-ray and ultrasound facilities all on site.
Our Nailsworth clinic is also open on Saturday afternoons
WE ARE PROUD TO BE ABLE TO OFFER CHOICE REGARDING CERTAIN SURGICAL PROCEDURES
KEYHOLE SURGERY
The benefits of laparoscopic “keyhole” surgery are
increasingly recognised. With the substantial investment
in both specialist equipment and the additional training
of veterinary surgeons, many practices do not consider
this a viable opportunity. However, the benefits for both
pets and owners over some traditional open abdominal
surgery procedures are clear. Reduced levels of pain for
the patient, less risk of complications and a quicker
recovery time are just a few of the important
considerations for pet owners, and this is
something we have been offering to our clients
for many years now.
LAPAROSCOPY
Keyhole bitch speys cause less surgical stress and up to 65% less post-op pain
The procedure is performed through two small keyhole incisions which are less painful and reduce recovery time
There is a decreased risk of wound infection
It allows for better visualisation of abdominal organs
LASER TREATMENT
The laser is used as an adjunct to other medical treatments. Our aim
is to use a multi-modal approach to improve both your pet’s and your
own quality of life without putting them through lots of invasive
procedures or additional stress. Our therapeutic laser works by
emitting infrared radiation at a specific frequency and wavelength
which ensures it penetrates to the deeper target tissues.
COMMUNITY MATTERS TO US
LASER TREATMENTS
We are active in your community, whether judging dog shows,
advising at school careers days, introducing younger children
to pet care in nurseries or hosting local Brownie groups.
It’s important to us to help educate tomorrow’s pet owners
and to support local fund-raising events, whenever we can.
It stimulates the body's normal cells
to do their job faster, to:
Reduce inflammation
Reduce swelling
Relieve pain
Improve/speed healing
The main thing to know about laser is that it is safe,
non-invasive and very well tolerated.
The procedure can be done during a normal consult
slot, no clipping of fur is required, and the patient
does not need to be sedated. There is no heat nor
other sensations generated by the laser so generally
the patient remains quite relaxed.

MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR YOU AND YOUR PET
You have choice, but please be aware that not all veterinary practices are the same!
It’s important that you are fully aware of what is on offer to you. We appreciate that what is
important to one person is not so to another. Perhaps you are a new pet owner, or maybe
you have just moved into the area; either way choosing the best veterinary practice for your
pet can be a little daunting - you are about to entrust someone with a much-loved member
of the family. Before you make up your mind, why not pop in and meet us. For reassurance,
why not take a look at the many heart-warming online reviews left by our clients!
