San Jacinto College is in contract to purchase 77 acres from Riverside County. 50 of those acres will be developed into the Wildomar Community College Campus with the remaining acreage to remain as open space and biological habitat. The environmental impact report will be in front of the trustees for approval in December 2015. The project will include 445,000 square feet of buildings developed in 3 phases with Phase I ground breaking currently scheduled for Spring 2016. Phase I will include a 47,000 square foot multi-purpose building, 47,000 square foot classroom building and a 74,000 library.
