The gas-turbo-generating set, BBC , model 13 C was built in the year 1974 as a singleshaft plant with a hopper firing chamber aside. The firing chamber (multi-fuel type burner:natural gas, extra light fuel oil or mixed service) is connected with the compressor by adouble U-tube. The 17 stage compressor and the 5 stage turbine are completed in a singleshell design with a horizontal joint. The hot exhaust gas is routed via an exhaust ductincluding an exhaust box (silencer) to the heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). Thecooling of the oil is carried out by heat exchangers and oil filters with cooling water.
The heat recovery boiler is a forced circulation boiler with pre-heater-, vaporizer- andSuper-heater modules. The separation of water and steam takes place in an outsidelying boiler drum. The water steam circuit is kept running by one boiler circulation pumpand two feed water pumps. The bare-tube heating areas were replaced with fin-tube heatbundles in order to enhance the performance. The generated steam is used of a powerproduction in a 40MWel steam turbine (not for sale).

The following modifications/extensions have been carried out: 1984 Replacement of the stack (inner tube and insulation).
New material: SS 1.4541. 1997 modification of the boiler: replacement of the tubes against fin-tubes (higher
boiler capacity) 1999 GT C – replacement of reconditioned rotor und blades 2001 Installation of demineralised water injection (reduction of NOx<300mg/Nm³)
