• The World Cup Academy by AMsportstours originated in South Africa in 2010 when over 100 young players enjoyed coaching, a foreign experience with other kids & families and live World Cup Games in Cape Town South Africa.

• The second World Cup Academy took place in Buzios, just outside Rio De Janeiro in 2014 during the World Cup in Brazil where over 600 players, parents and coaches enjoyed a fabulous experience at the World Cup in Brazil.

• The 2015 Girls-Only World Cup Academy in Canada is our first Academy which will allow USA players, parents and coaches to follow their National Team at the World Cup. All coaches are pro or college coaches offering the highest level of training.

AMsportstours hosted the World Cup Academy in Buzios and Rio de Janeiro this summer.

This was the biggest youth sports project held in Brazil during the World Cup and proved to be an unbelievable experience for the 600 people who attended. The Academy was based in the beautiful city of Buzios and included trips to Rio, training with top coaches and playing against Brazilian players. A phenomenal experience!

AMsportstours World Cup Academy in Brazil also included tickets to some of the best games of the tournament. The 600 people on the trip saw Messi score, Chile beating the former World Champions Spain, a stunning Germany vs. France quarter final and witnessed the goal of the tournament when James Rodriguez scored the stunning volley against Uruguay! An unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience!

• All teams are guaranteed 5 games • USA teams can enter teams using August 1st as the birthdate for cut off date (e.g. USA teams

with half 2001 & 2002 can play in either category depending on the strength of team, coach discretion)

• Guest Players are available at each age group if a full team cannot travel • You can register as a Guest Player and are guaranteed to join a team • Teams with players born 2008 to 2004 will be 7 aside • Teams with players born 2003 to 1998 will be 11 aside • There will be Elite and Non-Elite level at each age group • Games tied in knockout stages have 10 minutes extra-time then penalties • Games will be played on both artificial and natural grass • There will be finals matches and consolation matches

You and your family will be able to take time out of the schedule to take advantage of the day trips that will be available. All trips are optional. There will be transport available to these places for the whole group. Visit the stunning town of St Tropez, experience the glitz and glamour of Monaco or immerse yourself in the history of the Northern Italy town of Ventimiglia. Transport to these places is included in the price.

Is it the same price for a player, sibling or parent even if they don't play soccer? Yes, the price is flat rated. Those not playing soccer still have all other inclusions as listed (hotel, day trips, meals,

tickets, transport, etc.)

Does the price change depending on room type? No, you can choose from apartment or hotel room at the resort. There is only a surcharge for single rooms.

Can player travel alone?

Yes, all Clubs will have staff there and the player will be looked after by the Club staff and AMsportstours staff.

Can the parents go on the excursions (Italy, Monte Carlo etc.) without the kids? Yes, AMsportstours have a full day of activities (soccer training, beach soccer etc.) for the players on the same day

as the excursions meaning parents can choose whether they take their kids on these trips.

How does the guest player system work? If you have under half a team you merge with European players to fill your team. If you are a single player from

your team you then play on a Euro Cup Academy team of your age band.

Does the tournament have an Elite bracket? Yes, there is an Elite level and also a Club level.

Do we book our own flights?

Yes, then provide AMsportstours with your flight information and we collect you at Nice airport.
