The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee February 17th - March 5th The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a long one-act musical comedy conceived by Rebecca Feldman with music and lyrics by William Finn, a book by Rachel Sheinkin and additional material by Jay Reiss. The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups. I Hate Hamlet May 5th - 21st I Hate Hamlet is set in John Barrymore's old apartment in New York City and follows successful television actor Andrew Rally as he struggles with taking on the dream role of Hamlet, dealing with a girlfriend who is keeping a firm grip on her chastity, and playing host to the ghost of John Barrymore, who, clothed as Hamlet, has come back to earth for the sole purpose of convincing Rally to play the part. 42nd Street July 14th - 30th 42nd Street is an American musical based on the novel by Bradford Ropes and the subsequent 1933 Hollywood film adaptation. The show focuses on the efforts of famed dictatorial Great White Way director Julian Marsh to mount a successful stage production of a musical extravaganza at the height of the Great Depression. The Addams Family September 29th - October 15th The Addams Family features every father’s nightmare.
