CATHOLIC CENTER MISSION STATEMENT
The Catholic Center at the University of Georgia is a
Eucharistic Community that seeks to live the gospel of
Jesus Christ in the tradition of our Roman Catholic faith
and the spirit of St. Francis. As Christian disciples we are
charged to answer Christ’s call for compassion by becoming
instruments of peace, charity and justice. We seek to stand
in solidarity with the poor, the stranger, the alienated and to
collaborate with those who serve them in local and global
communities. We endeavor to respect a universe
created by God in Love.

THE 2016 ARCHBISHOP’S ANNUAL APPEAL
“LOVE NEVER FAILS”
Our 2016 goal is $50,000. Please consider pledging the same amount as last year or a minimum of $150. All funds raised in excess of our goal will be refunded to the Catholic Center and will be used for our Frances Wallis Student Scholarship program. If we do not attain our goal with actual contributions (not just pledges), we will have to make up the shortfall from our operating or savings accounts. Those who contributed last year should have received a letter from the Archbishop regarding this year’s Appeal. Checks should be made payable to the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
