Environmental Working Group is a PROFESSIONAL SCARE–MONGERING OUTFIT that runs a number of LUCRATIVE FUND–RAISING CAMPAIGNS ( cosmetics, food, energy, resources ) that SPREAD ALARM and then ASK FOR DONATIONS to keep up the fight. The apple warning came in the context of a regular Environmental Working Group feature, the « Dirty Dozen » of fruits and vegetables produced in the United States — and sold in Canada. This year, based on U.S. Department of Agriculture findings, apples jumped to the top of the list. « According to USDA, pesticides showed up on 98 per cent of the more than

700 apple samples tested » said the Environmental Working Group in a news release. The PESTICIDE DETECTIONS ARE MINUSCULE AND POSE NO HEALTH RISK, as the USDA points out. Indeed, PESTICIDES HELP KEEP FRUITS AND VEGETABLES FRESH AND SAFE.



But the Environmental Working Group wraps up its news release with warn-ings ―

The government had estimated that the legislation could create up to 50,000 JOBS, directly and indirectly, over a period of three years. It was not clear how these job numbers were calculated. The Act called for an expansion of wind, solar, biomass and other renewable energy produc-tion. The Canada Revenue Agency ( CRA ) takes abuse of Canada’s tax laws very seriously. When an individual or business does not fully comply with tax legislation, an unfair burden is placed on law–abiding taxpayers and businesses and the integrity of Cana-da's tax base is jeopardized. The mandate of the Informant Leads Program is to co–ordinate all leads that the CRA receives from informants, to determine if there is an element of non–compliance with tax legislation, and to ensure that appropriate enforcement action is taken. The program is regionalized into five offices across the country. To report suspected tax evasion, contact the office in your region. He has trained, instructed, and consulted with THOUSANDS of turf managers and techni-cians. Mr. Gathercole has also been an agricultural agronomist. For many years, Mr. Gathercole was a contributing columnist for TURF & Recreation Magazine, Canada’s Turf and Grounds Maintenance Authority. Mr. Gathercole and his colleagues have followed the evolution of LUNATIC ENVIRONMENTAL TERRORISM for over a quarter century. For FIFTEEN YEARS, the strategies designed and implemented by Mr. Gathercole and his colleagues guaranteed the control of the VERMIN OF ENVIRONMENTAL TERROR for the entire Modern Green Space Industry across Canada.
