SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure that the towbar is suitable for the vehicle before
starting the installation.
For safety, all work involving towbar installation (incl.
electrical components) must be undertaken by skilled
technicians.
Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer’s spares
and fitted by qualified staff.
It is forbidden to make any modification or structural repair to
towing assembly.
The towball must be kept clean and lubricated. For added safety,
his diameter (50 mm) must be checked at regular intervals. If the
towball measures less than 49 mm after selected readings across the
diameter, the towball must be replaced with a new one.
After 1000 km of towing, check torque settings for nuts and
bolts, in accordance with the table.

• Remove any mastic from contact points and paint with anti-rust
paint.
1. Remove bumper ( 4 fixing on lower edge, 1 fixing each side of
boot opening, 3 around each wheel arch and fold back wheel arch
liner to reveal one additinally fixing. Unplug fog lamps. Pull
bumper tips out sideways and then rearwards) .
2. Remove the polystirene bars that absorb the shocks from the
bumper beam 3. bar and remove towing eye.4. Remove the bumper beam.
5. Insert the two side arms A inside the two open ends of the
chassis and bolt using
bolts 1.6. Locate cross bar B using holes 2 and 3 and tighten7.
Fully tighten all nuts and bolts.8. Connect the wirings to the
socket.9. Please pay attention:the wirings must be as far as
possible from the exhaust.10. Re-fit the polystyrene bars on the
cross bar and fix them with double-sided tape,
glue or silicone.11.Re-fit the towing eye and bumper.
