Did You Know? The whitewater course atop Wisp is 1/3-mile long with a conveyor lift to take you back to the start for another lap. It’s so good the 2014 World’s whitewater kayaking championships were held here, but don’t worry, we can slow the water down for family fun!

What would summer be without splashing around in water? At Wisp Resort, we do waterplay a little different - on a mountaintop re-circulating Whitewater Course! This is one of two courses in the United States and it is a must-try when visiting the area. It’s all the adrenaline of whitewater rapids on a controlled man-made river with river-side monitors. Plus, the course makes for great spectating so even if you are not in a boat, you can watch your family and friends ride the rapids!
