The latest release of Nintex Workflow for Office 365 adds new capabilities like State Machines, RunIf, and Action labels. You can now design workflows using State Ma-chine and RunIf actions to build agile, dynamic, and powerful processes with ad-vanced logic. With the new action labeling capability, users can easily label each ac-tion in their workflow design to describe the process in easy to understand terms.

Watch the video linked here for more details:

State Machines

Using state machines users can model workflow processes to jump between different levels of business logic in a way that’s easy to understand and main-tain. For example, if you have several levels of synchronous approvals (in processes like employee onboarding, docu-ment approval, advertisement creation process, sales order generation, etc.) and a certain level declines the request, then state machine allows you to go back to the previous level of ap-proval.

The RunIf action allows you encap-sulate workflow actions to run only if a certain condition is met.

Adding meaningful labels to your workflow actions helps users understand the process and its current status better. It provides context to business process owner for reviews and documentation, especially if they are not familiar with the action’s icon.

The 3 characteristics of the well positioned sale – anchor the deal!

Here’s one from a recent ses-sion with a young professional who’s just starting out in sales.

It’s a variant of the classical teach-ing about open and closed ques-tions.

“The book” teaches us that open questions are those that could have many different answers and that it’s used to set the scene and context of the sale. Closed questions is differ-

ent because they’re designed to lim-ited the set of possible answers, for example yes / now or red / amber / green.

I’ve always felt that by itself these ideas are not that helpful – sure if I knew where to go with the sales discussion, I’d know if an open or a closed question would work better at any particular point.
