    Thank you for picking up the winter issue of Fork & Fun, Hilton Heads Restaurant Guide, the most comprehen-sive source of restaurant information in print and online in our area.

    Winter is a great season here in the South. While we might not remember when it was snowing hard enough to count the snowflakes, we can enjoy the

    occasional chilly days when we get to wear a sweater and crave some comfort food, with plenty of sunny days left spent sleeveless on the beach.

    The culinary scene is alive and well, the Lowcountry is home to hundreds of great restaurants, ranging from secret hideaways to delightful full-service, high-end hotspots. You can en-joy regional fare such as local seafood and farm-to-table restau-rants and international cuisine from all corners of the world: Ameri-can, French, German, Italian, Mediterranean, Brazilian, Greek, Asian, Mexican and Southwestern cuisine right here in our paradise.

    Inside Fork & Fun you will find locations, descriptions and menus the best Hilton Head Island and Bluffton restaurants have to of-fer. Use Table of Contents (pages 6-11) as your overview and nav-igation tool. Restaurants are listed alphabetically with their phone number and the type of cuisine they specialize in, page location for each restaurants menu, restaurant description and the map loca-tion number. The Table of Contents can also be used as a quick ref-erence guide to see who is open for breakfast, lunch or dinner along with several specialty categories such as outdoor dining, childrens menu, take-out, late night, dog friendly places and more.

    We also provide information on local entertainment, happy hours, early bird specials, (find under Sections on this page). Please check out the culinary events this winter (pg. 59). At the end of the book (pg. 129) you will find a comprehensive Restaurant Directory of the whole Hilton Head and Bluffton area.

    Hilton Head is also a well-established wedding destination, thanks in a big part to the 9th Annual Hilton Head Bridal Show, now in its 9th year organized and sponsored by Monthly Media, at Westin Hotel, February 7th, 2015 (pg. 44).
