FORKLIFT OPERATOR TRAINING & CERTIFICATION OPEN ENROLLMENT Open enrollment training classes are designed for companies with less than five operators that need training and certification. This class is the similar to the on-site course, except that it is performed at a TMH facility, using our forklifts. The training & certification will be for sit-down counterbalanced forklifts, (electric and gas/lp) and includes classroom training, a written test, hands-on driving, certificates and digital wallet cards. Additional employer training will be necessary for the specific type of work environment encountered and equipment used. Class size is limited, pre-registration is recommended. We accept account invoicing, company check, MasterCard or Visa, and cash (Personal checks not accepted). Payment for training class is nonrefundable. TRAIN THE TRAINERFORKLIFT CERTIFICATIONIn this comprehensive one-day course you will learn what the OSHA requirements are, how they affect your company, and how to comply with the standards. This course will give you the tools and knowledge needed to return to work and establish an “in-house” training program for forklift operators that is specific to your company’s operation and equipment types, while meeting the OSHA requirements.

OSHA states “All operator training shall be conducted by persons who have the knowledge, training and experience to train and evaluate others.”

TRAINING VIDEOS & RELATED SUPPORT ITEMSThe video training program includes a main video, pedestrian safety video, “refresher” training video, instructors guide, ten operator manuals, ten operator exams, ten wallet cards, and ten wall certificates.

AERIAL PLATFORMOPERATOR

ON-SITE If you have five or more operators, we offer training at your facility.

COURSE CONTENT• Review related standards from OSHA,

and ANSI• Operating unsafe equipment or

performing unsafe acts• Outline penalties for improper use

of equipment• Lifting device and mobile equipment

definitions

• Complete review of “fall arrest” required, and recommended

• Pre-shift equipment inspections and pre-shift work area inspection requirements

• Review site specific hazards and controls for safe operation off a man-lift

• Review of safety decals, load capacities and specific equipment requirements

Upon successful completion, Certificates and Wallet Cards will be issued to those who complete both the written test and hands-on driving evaluation.

This Program is Divided into Two Segments

This course provides participants a general understanding of the safe and efficient operation of “Power Operated Mobile Work Platforms.” Participants will be able to identify specific health and safely hazards associated with operating man-lifts.

Part I - Includes an in class course with formal lecture and instruction, along with competency evaluation and written exam.

Part 2 - Consists of pre-shift operator inspection and hands on driving with evaluation which will measure the individual’s ability to operate a specific aerial-lift, in a safe manner.

YOUR COST

• 5-19 operators - $175 per person

• 20 or more operators - $150 per person

• Add $25 for weekend or evening classes.

Upon successful completion, Certificates and Wallet Cards will be issued to those who complete both the written test and hands-on driving evaluation.
