IntroductionThis document highlights the Administrative view of FormFactory including the following topics:

I. InstallationII. Implementation and SetupIII. Required User Profile Settings

The sections below provide detailed step by step instructions for each of the topics listed above.The goal of this document is to make the entire Administrative process as easy as possible and anenjoyable experience.

InstallationThis section highlights the installation of FormFactory from the Salesforce AppExchange.

1. Click on the link below to access the FormFactory page on the Salesforce AppExchange

2. Next, click on the Get It Now button

3. You will be immediately prompted to answer a couple of questions. Make sure to answer yes tothe first two and select production for the last question. Then click continue.

4. Next, you will prompted to log back into your Salesforce Org

5. Next, check the box that says I agree and click on the Install button

6. Next, you will be prompted to type in your Salesforce Password

7. Click the Continue button to continue with the Installation

8. Next click the button that says install.

9. Next, click the button that says Deploy Now

10. The click the button that says deploy

Once the installation is complete, click on the FormFactory Tab and install either an Active X Control ifyou are using IE or a plugin if you are using Firefox. Then follow the instructions in the accompanyingPDF. Note: Steps 9 & 10 above are extremely important.

Verification of the Successful Deployment of the FormFactory custom objects

Upon installing FormFactory from the AppExchange, you will be installing the following FormFactorycustom objects into your Salesforce Org.

The final two steps of the Salesforce installation wizard, is to either deploy the custom objectsassociated with the application or not. If you decided at installation not to deploy these customobjects, then the first time a user attempts to access FormFactory, they will receive the followingerror message:

If you see this error message, it means that the FormFactory custom objects have not beendeployed correctly. To resolve this, follow the instructions below:

1. Go into Salesforce Setup2. Once in Salesforce Setup, navigate to the left side of the screen and click on Create under App

3. Next, click on Objects to display a list of all of the custom objects in your Org

4. To deploy one of the FormFactory custom objects, click on the Edit option to the left of theForm, Page or Slide custom objects

5. Once you click the edit option, custom object details dialog will appear. Scroll down to thebottom of the dialog box and click on the radio button that says deployed and then click thesave button.

6. Once you click save, you will see a check mark to the right of the custom object on the CustomObject page. Make sure to deploy all of the FormFactory related custom objects in addition tothe DreamFactory Shared Views custom object.

Plugin InstallationUpon clicking on the FormFactory tab and launching FormFactory for the first time, all users will beprompted to install the DreamFactroy Player which is a plugin required to use the application. Below is alist of supported browsers and also manual installation links for each browser.

How to Publish the Custom FormFactory LinksIn order to successfully launch a Form in FormFactory, you must first publish the custom links on to thepage layout of the entity you want to launch the form from. This document provides step by stepinstructions how to publish the custom links for the Quote, Invoice and Shipping Form.

1. Click on the Setup button on the top of the Salesforce page

1. Next, on the left hand navigation panel, click on Customize located under App Setup

2. Next select the entity that you want to launch the form from. For this example, theOpportunities object will be used.

3. Next, click on the Buttons and Links link under Opportunities to view/edit the custom links

4. The next step would be to publish these custom links by adding them to the Entity Page Layout.To do this, click on the Edit button next to the appropriate Page Layout.

5. Once on the Page Layout, click on the Custom Links option on the top and then drag the customlink down to the custom link section in the Entity Detail. Then click save.

6. Once you have published the custom links, simply go to the entity and launch the form byclicking on the link. The screen shot below displays the custom link tied to the OpportunitiesEntity.

How to Run the FormFactory License ManagerThe only time a user must run the FormFactory License Manager is in order to purchase the application.Below are instructions regarding running the License Manager.

Step 1: Log into Salesforce

Step 2: Click on the FormFactory tab

Step 3: Once in FormFactory, click on the Support Menu

Step 4: Select the License Manager from the Support Menu

Step 5: Once selected, the License Manager dialog box will appear. Select the "I want to evaluateFormFactory" radio button and then click the next button.

Step 6: The Select Users tab will appear with the Found Users and the Named Users boxes. Type thename of the resource you want to add. To obtain a list of all users in your Org, simply type the word Alland then click the search button.

Step 7: Add the users that you want to give a license to into the Named Users box by selecting the usersand clicking the Green arrow and then clicking the next button.

Step 8: Next, complete the Contact Information Section highlighted in red and then click the next buttonto proceed. If and when you decide to purchase FormFactory, you must select which edition eitherProfessional or Enterprise from the drop down menu at the top of the screen.

Step 9: Check the box that says I Agree on the left and then click the next button to proceed

Step 10: The last step is to select your payment option and then click the Finish button.

Required User Profile SettingsThis section highlights the User Profile settings required to operate FormFactory successfully.

Required settings in the Salesforce User Profile (SFDC Enterprise/Unlimited Only)

If you are using FormFactory in a Salesforce Enterprise or Unlimited Org, then you have the ability tomanage the access level of the FormFactory components through the User Profile. For those usingSalesforce Professional, please ignore this section and refer to the section immediately following thisone.

Within the Salesforce User Profile, there are a number of settings that need to be provided, in order fora user to successfully use FormFactory. The following settings are required for user to accessFormFactory. Note: The Salesforce Standard User Profile must be cloned in order to enable thesesettings/permissions.

A. Custom App SettingsB. Tab SettingsC. Custom Object Settings

B. Custom App SettingsIn order to provide visibility the System Administrator must ensure that the FormFactory check box,located in the Custom App Settings is checked. To access this, follow the instructions below:

1. Go into Salesforce Setup2. Once in setup, navigate to the left side of the dialog and under Administrative Setup click on

Manage Users

3. Once in Manage Users, select Profiles

4. Next, select the profile of the user by clicking on the profile name.

5. Once in the User Profile, scroll down to the Custom App Settings section and ensure that thecheck box next to FormFactory has been checked. If not then scroll back up to the top andclick on edit and then check this box in the Custom App Settings section.

C. Tab SettingsIn order to provide visibility the System Administrator must ensure that the FormFactory Tab isDefault On. To access this, follow the instructions below:

7. Once in the User Profile, scroll down to the Tab Settings section and make sure that theFormFactory tab setting has been turned to Default On under the Custom Tab Settings.

D. Custom Object PermissionsIn order to provide access to all of the FormFactory custom objects, the System Administrator mustprovide Read/Write/Edit and Delete access to all of the FormFactory custom objects in the CustomObject Permissions section. To access this, follow the instructions below:

1. Once in the User Profile, scroll down to the Custom Object Permission section and check tosee that the following custom objects have been provided the Read/Write/Edit and Deleteprivileges.

2. If these custom object permissions are not checked, simply scroll back up to the top of thescreen and click the edit button. Then scroll back down and check all of the boxes for all ofthe FormFactory related custom objects as displayed in the screen shot above.
