Our liturgist this morning is Linda Preston who has enjoyed the many volunteer, education and social opportunities provided through Plymouth over the years. Currently she supports the food distribution program for Immigrant Families each Friday. At 6 p.m. our liturgist is Rev. Dr. Victoria Gardner who is a Spiritual Psychologist, Interfaith Chaplain, and Music Minister. Her Music and Healing Ministry with another widow and singer/songwriter is called “2 Healing Hearts” (the name of their FB page), and they just recorded their second album of original Praise & Worship music.

Easter Flowers: Our wonderful donors are listed at the end of this insert.

Casey Slide writes in Moneycrashers.com that you just don't wake up deciding to be more generous, that it is a lifestyle change calling for you to know yourself, understand what talents you can give and in what ways. Plan out a "time and talent" budget including your financial budget. Know if your purpose is to better yourself, your community, and environment. This will keep you motivated. (from Ross Lane, Stewardship Board) Since Barb is now working part-time at home, please email her if she does not answer your call at the Plymouth office. If she is away or on vacation, it will say that on the reply you get to your email. Thank you.

Zoom coffee hour begins after the service ends You won't be able to get into the Zoom link before 11 a.m. Look for the link in your Saturday email from Plymouth. Need assistance? Do you need financial assistance with groceries, rent or medication? We have some funds available to help. Contact one of your pastors. Plymouth needs your voice in the Rocky Mountain Conference! We are looking for two Plymouth members to be our representatives (along with our clergy who have standing in the UCC) at the annual meeting of the RMC in June. Events will be held virtually June 7-13. Topics include clergy compensation guidelines and some special interest sessions. Interested? Follow this link: https://rmcucc.org/annual-celebration-2021/ and let your moderator know by April 12 at [email protected]

Adult Formation There is no Sunday Forum Easter Sunday. Adult Forum will resume April 11 with a series on Immigration and World Missions. Good News! Join our church-wide book study for the Plymouth Reads book, Without Oars: Casting Off into a Life of Pilgrimage, by Visiting Scholar, Wesley Granberg-Michaelson. Mondays, 10-11:30 a.m., Apr. 12-May 10. Facilitated by Viki Johnson, this group is a great chance to engage with Plymouth friends about important themes for Plymouth's future! (If you need other ways to engage, contact us at [email protected].) You can register for this study at plymouthucc.org/reads. Books available in the office while they last, $10, check or cash.

Lenten Bible Blog "Bible Study?! Who has time to study the Bible?" If this is your normal reaction to the Bible study, try something new for Lent! As a Lenten practice, read our BRIEF weekly Lenten Bible Blog written by David Petersen, Plymouth member and former moderator, fly fisherman, and distinguished Biblical scholar. plymouthucc.org/lent2021

Children & Youth Formation

Plymouth's annual Easter Egg Hunt was a glorious success thanks to the following members of the Christian Formation Board: Elaine Kim, Jillian Harrison, Sarah Parmenter and Joan Spurgin. Special thanks to Alli Stubbs and the intrepid youth group and to Hal and Jane Anne. A good time was had by all! Middle and high school youth groups: Middle schoolers will continue to meet every Sunday from 4:30-6:00 p.m., while High schoolers will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 7-8:30 p.m. We will be meeting either outside on the lawn or in the Fellowship Hall, depending on weather conditions. For more info, contact Alli ([email protected]).

Small Groups & Fellowship Ministries The church is OPEN … but we won’t be gathering in person inside the church until further notice. If you are looking for a new small-group activity to try, call either of our ministers, and we’ll help plug you in! Celtic Christianity, Healing prayer, and some new opportunities will be available. COVID-19 continues to affect many, especially the most vulnerable among us. The Outreach and Mission Board invites you, if you are in a position to do so, to share a portion of your American Rescue Act payment. If you need help deciding, O/M has some suggestions: ISAAC’S EMERGENCY IMMIGRATION FUND, LA FAMILIA or the FOOD BANK. The Plymouth website [www.plymouthucc.org] has info on how to donate! Thank you! Stephen Ministry: Continue to pray for our Stephen Minister trainees and Leaders. We will all be focusing on Holy Week next week. Next Tuesday trainees are exploring one of the more frequent situations in which they may provide care - “Ministering to Those Experiencing Grief.” They’ll learn about the different stages of grief, along with practical ways they can care at each stage. This is a situation everyone is likely to encounter at different times in life, so it’s a crucial way our Stephen Ministers will offer care in our congregation and community. Visiting Ministry: Feel called to regularly visit or touch base with the homebound? Please contact [email protected] Faith Community Nursing (FCN): Are you a licensed registered nurse interested in helping folks in the congregation understand their health situation? Please contact [email protected]

Plymouth Text Connection: We are adding text messaging as a way to stay connected. We hope you will give it a try. WE NEED YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBER! Go to plymouthucc.org/text! Beginning 3/17/21 we will start testing the texting process, then on alternating weeks will have a fun engagement text, then a wellness check-in the following week.

Fellowship of the Grape (FOG) is still happening on the 4th Friday of every month using Zoom-Email Invite). The card project is on hold until the threat of Covid-19 is history. Hopefully, you will continue to collect the cards that you no longer need and bring them to Plymouth once we are able to be together at church. If

you need/want to donate them right away or have other questions about this project, just call Mary Kay or Ron Graver. In the meantime please hold the women and the staff at the facility close as confinements such as theirs are so vulnerable during this pandemic. Thank you in advance for your continued generosity.

The beautiful plants decorating the Sanctuary are given as listed:

In memory of Makenzie & Mikaela Dunigan and Miriam Rose AtLee, the gift of Kate & Aaron Dunigan AtLee
