JOIN Spring Forward 2020 The great thing about this festival is that you can enter and leave at any time

without disturbing the people sitting next to you. Here are some tips.

To Enter the online Spring Forward Festival, just click on the link in your registration confirmation email and you may join the festival at any moment during the day. Have your unique link & password ready. No Hassle.

Can’t find your link & password? Go to your ‘Spring Forward 2020 Registration Confirmation’ email and scroll to the bottom to find Click here to join

To Exit hover to the bottom of the screen on your right side, you will see ‘Leave Meeting’. Click to silently make an exit.

CHECK your Zoom App

We recommend that you use a computer or laptop in order to make the most of your experience.

1Once you have the app, open, sign in to your account and you will see the following window. Click on the settings button. 2 GENERAL SETTINGS Keep the same settings

as suggested and feel free to change the skin tone option.

You can only change settings on your app, not the website.

3VIDEO SETTINGS With the video settings, do not enable HD or touch up my appearance. Here you can test how everything looks

before you join the Spring Forward online.4AUDIO SETTINGS Here you can test your

speakers and the mic. When testing the mic, speak into your mic and it will playback your

recording.

ASK questions at Springback Q&As

5 As an attendee at Springback Q&As, you’ll be invited to ask questions. To do this, first look at the bottom

panel where you will see the options Raise hand and Q&A. Your mic and camera will not be enabled at any point whilst being an attendee.

6If you have a question please click the RAISE HAND button. During the Q&A you will be promoted to a panelist,

where everybody can see you when you ask the question. When you are switched from attendee to panelist, your video will turn on automatically. The host will unmute you. Please wait for the interviewer to acknowledge your presence before you proceed with your question for the artist.

7The picture shows what you will see as a panelist when you have your video on.

When your question has been answered you will be switched back to being an attendee and you do not have to worry about your audio and video as it will be automatically disabled.

8 Alternatively, you have the option of typing a question to the panelists via the Q&A button. Feel free to use this as well. Your name will

be attached to the question, or you can make it anonymous if you prefer.

PLEASE NOTE People who ‘Raise Hand’ and appear on screen with the panelists will be given priority over the people who type their questions through the Q&A button. The panelists will try to go through as many questions as possible, time permitting. Aerowaves may record video, audio or still images of this event.

MEET each other in The Foyer with the Zoom App The following are instructions to enter The Foyer, a chat channel available on the Zoom App.

This will allow you to mingle with everyone in advance of the festival, including artists and Springbackers and during your morning coffee, lunch breaks and evening cocktails.

Entry to The Foyer is available at all times and through any device.

1A prerequisite is that you have a Zoom account and the Zoom app on your laptop, PC or phone.

2 Click on the link in the email from Aerowaves inviting you to The Foyer and then login. If you

haven’t received the email, click on link or contact anna@aerowaves.org

3Upon clicking the link you will automatically be added to Aerowaves contact list.

You do not have to do anything else.

4Soon after, you should receive a notification that you have been added

to ‘ The Foyer’ Channel.

5 Open your Zoom app. Under the Chat tab, you should see the channel where you can

connect with your peers in The Foyer.

SEE you in The Foyer.

You will get Push Notifications from Zoom when there is activity. To turn off the Push Notifications, please go to the:

Zoom App > Home > Settings > Chat > Push Notifications

Select ‘Nothing’ will turn off any notifications from the Zoom chat.

DANCE at the after-party with Dubioza Kolektiv

On Sunday 26 April we will close Spring Forward The show must go on - line with a ZOOM dance watch party. We will dance to the Balkan beats of Dubioza Kolektiv. Join and dance. Invite your friends and let’s have some self-isolation fun!

To maximise the fun, you should:

3 THE PARTY STARTS AT 21:30 (cet) ... BE ON TIME!4 CREATE THE MOOD... PUT UP SOME DISCO LIGHTS5 RAISE HAND TO APPEAR ON SCREEN
