Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago, but are now extinct.

Extinct – Describes a kind of living thing

that is no longer found on Earth.

Fossil- The hardened remains of a plant or an animal that lived long ago.

A dinosaur track is called a trace fossil.

There are different types of fossils.

and animals have changed over

time.
