The university currently offers 2 foundation programmes that are designed to allow direct progression into undergraduate courses at CUCMS. Delivered by the Centre for Foundation, Languages and General Studies, these programmes seek to equip students with both the knowledge, skills and attributes necessary to be a successful undergraduate student. In addition to science courses students are also exposed to important study skills, general knowledge and Information Technology to allow them to harness the benefits of ICT aided learning. Lecturers also provide a holistic learning experience that emphasises on professional ethics and values.

OUR STUDENTS

“I found the Foundation programme at CUCMS to be unique as it is the only course which emphasized on the concept of Affective Domain which is a module by itself. The university has stayed true to its objectives of shaping ethical professionals with positive attitude and to produce holistic individuals rather than just focusing solely only on the cognitive aspect of learning.

As part of the learning process, students are given the opportunity to organize activities and outreach programmes as part of our learning. This program had prepared me thoroughly for my undergraduate degree. Aside from that, the facilities here are comprehensive and up-to-date.” Noor Alina Binti Omar, Foundation in Science student.
