16th year for the conference Past keynote speakers include: Ray Bradbury, Stephen J. Gould, Oliver Sacks, Meave Leakey, Sylvia Nassar and Brian Greene. This year's keynote speaker is internationally acclaimed playwright Edward Albee. Ernest L. Boyer Award for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Technology which includes a $5,000 cash award.

Foundation
Last year 300 scholarships were awarded to students with funds from the private sector. The Foundation has more than 100 scholarship funds and also supports 50 different programs and projects throughout the College community. Creating a $20 million scholarship endowment fund
Artist Series
Entering into it’s 38th season. Attendance is approximately 200,000 annually and the series averages over 100 performances.
Athletics
More student athletes than any other community college qualify for FCCAA Academic Honors. Led the state with 9 student athletes named as National Junior College Athletic Association Academic All Americans.
