    finishing: Cut batting and backing 3” larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top together and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual.

    wAllhAnging AssemBly1 Sew (1) e 8” square to each side of (1) d 1-1/2” x 8” strip. Make 2. 2 Sew (1) sewn unit to each side of (1) d 1-1/2” x 16-1/2” strip.3 Sew (1) d 1-1/2” x 16-1/2” strip to each side of quilt center.4 Sew (1) d 1-1/2” x 18-1/2” strip to top and bottom of quilt center.

    5 Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of (1) B 3-1/2” square. Place square, right sides together, at a corner of (1) C 3-1/2” x 6-1/2” strip. Sew on drawn line. Trim 1/4” away from sewn line. Open and press to reveal B corner triangle. Repeat with another B 3-1/2” square on opposite corner of C strip to complete BC unit. Make 4.6 Sew (1) BC unit to one side of a 3-1/2” x 12-1/2” strip. Make 2. Then sew (1) sewn unit to each side of

    quilt top.7 Sew (1) BC unit to one side of a 3-1/2” x 15-1/2” strip. Sew (1) a 3-1/2” square to opposite end. Make 2.

    Then sew (1) sewn unit to top and bottom of quilt top.
