Write a letter to your future self!

Instructions

1. Cut along the bottom line of each sheet of paper, but be sure to cut around the tab on each page, as shown.

2. Write your name in large letters on the cover page. Decorate the cover page as you wish.

3. Complete the “My 4th Grade Fast Facts” page. Drawa picture of yourself in the empty frame. Write afew sentences about important events that havehappened outside of school this year below your picture. Fill in the blanks with information aboutyour school year.

4. Complete the “I’ve Grown… in Multiple Ways” page. Eachclipboard is labeled with a particular school subject. Nameat least one thing you learned this year on eachclipboard paper. Write the title of your favorite book(read this year) on the book cover. Finally, think of onelife lesson that you learned this year and write it in therectangle. Then, explain how you learned that lesson.

5. Complete the “My Classmates” page. Name one boy and one girl in your class who would be most deserving of each award listed. Feel free to create additional awards and name the recipients on the back of this sheet of paper. (Remember, only list kind awards.)

6. Complete the “Memorable Moments” page. Inside eachphotograph, draw a simple picture to represent some of your favorite moments in fourth grade that you never want to forget.

7. Complete the “Looking Toward the Future” page. Inthe first box (on the left side), write a letter to your18-year-old self. List some things you want yourselfto remember as you end your high school years. In the top box on the right side, write about any summer plans you have. Also, write the title of thefirst book you plan to read this summer. Inside thechalkboard image, write three goals you have for fifth grade.

8. Stack your papers in order and staple at the top of the cover page.
