FAQWhat if I don’t have a gun or gear?

FPF Training offers rental for all required equipment for $25.00 a day. Students must provide their own 9mm ammunition.

What about my skill level?

FPF Training courses are designed to provide a pathway from beginner to expert. “Foundation Skills” is the entry point for most students, but we do offer “Pistol 101” for complete novices. See website for details, or email with your questions.

Where are the courses held?

Most classes are conducted at a private facility in Culpeper, VA. However, individual instruction is available in your own home and a number of indoor ranges in the NOVA area.

Do these courses qualify me to apply for my concealed handgun permit?

Concealed Carry: Street Encounter SkillsReinforces a defensive mindset, expands weapon manipulation skills and excercises concealed carry tactics within a realistic context. The principles of de-escalation, verbalization and decisive movement will be exercised along with practice in the judicious use of lethal force.

Advanced Concealed Carry TacticsStudents will expand upon their Street Encounter skills with “Hit at Distance”, “Up close and personal”, “In and Around Cars” modules, as well as engage multiple moving targets, shoot from disadvantaged positions and participate in “force on force” scenarios. Prerequisite: Street Encounter Skills.
