Hub Cluster

The Hub Cluster is hosting a Soup & Dessert Supper on Saturday,February 5th from 4:30 - 7 p.m. at Ashton UMC. There are many spotswhere volunteers are needed from making desserts to volunteering oneither Friday February 4th or Saturday, February 5th. Please see sign upsheet at church to sign up. We are looking for Jr and Sr. High youth to helpserve drinks during the meal from 4:15 to 7 p.m. on Saturday. The cost ofthe supper is $5 per person. In addition to the supper, there wi l l a lso be asi lent auction on fancy desserts this night. †

Please mark your calendar and plan on coming out to the DeKalb

Convocation Center on Saturday, January 22nd for the Winter Jam

Concert featuring Newsboys, David Crowder Band, Kutless, Red,

Francesca Battistel l i , NewSong, KJ-52, Tony Nolan, Sidewalk Prophets,

Chris August and Chris Sl igh. Tickets cost $10 and are only sold at the

door on a first come first serve basis as you go through the door. Tickets

need to be paid for with either cash or check. Check's can be made out

to NewSong Ministries. Seating is on a first come first serve basis as you

enter the Convocation Center. The concert starts at 6 p.m. and wi l l end

no later than 9:45 p.m. that night. Please let Pastor Karl know if you are

interested in coming out for a night of worship and fun. Please see

You are invited to join other Moms from al l around the world at the Heartsat Home National Conference on March 11th - 12th in Bloomington, IL.Hearts at Home meets the unique, changing needs of moms in every season ofmotherhood. The Sunday SchoolClasses wi l l host a meal on this day immediately fol lowingchurch in order to raise money for future Sunday School field trips. This is agreat way to support our Sunday School kids and let them know that youthink they are important. Sunday School field trips are a great way to helpbui ld relationships and keep the kids motivated to come back each week tolearn more about God. †

Our thoughts and prayers are with the fami ly of Arvi l la Mae"Susie" Girton who passed away December 5th. May God's loveand comfort surround the fami ly at this time of loss. †

Sympathy is extended to the fami ly of Mike Ford who died on December18th. May the grace of God help them through this difficult time. †
