4th graders to improve their reading and comprehension skills.

Why did you want to be a task leader for FDS 2016? the Awards Ceremony we have at the end of our reading. I also did a Read>Lead>Achieve bulletin board for

Leslie Anido’s classroom this year.

Why did you want to be a task leader for FDS 2016? At Convention this past June, as soon as they

announced our location as an FDS spot, I knew that I needed to be involved. I met so many of our Region 6

angels at convention, and look forward to welcoming all to our area!

What are you most excited about for FDS 2016? Getting books to kids! I was very luck to grow up with two

teachers as parents, and learned to read in kindergarten. Anything I wanted to read, my parents got for me, and

encouraged library time, and let me read with a flashlight in bed. I need to channel my passion for reading to the

younger generations. If I didn’t read, I couldn’t breathe!
