Considering The AntA steady hum of activity is heard a-round the Seminary these day s _ as usual Work is not only goiijg on in thenew chapel, but on the kitchen and lau ndry out back which are being erected i ianticipation of the summer camps.Trucks run to and fro dumping sand, gravel, and concrete blocks, while masons, carpenters, and husky men handy

with pick and shovel, do their part tochange the landscape. The tile f loors have a ll b ee n laid in thenew chapel, the inside plastered andpainted. The church has been meeting ini t fo r re gu la r services since th e firs t ofthe year. Before doors and windows hadbeen put in, a record-breaking cold spelldescended on the island. Chilly nightbreezes off the mountains drove theChristians back into their cramped quarters in one of the classrooms until doorsand windows were f inished and installed. The outside of the building has yet to bepainted, and the ceiling put in.

One familywas Christian, the other was not. Whenthe ungodly family began to be plaguedwith ill health, instead of seeking natural causes they accused their Christianneighbors of practicing obeah (or witchcraft) on them. The Christians repliedthat if anyone were practicing obeah, itwas the accusing neighbors themselves.(Which, as it turned out, was partiallytrue.)
