Choose a mount type: inside or outside mount

inside mountinside mount window treatments are installed inside the window casing.• Measure the inside width of the window casing in three places and record

the narrowest measurement

• Measure the inside height from the top of the window casing to the top of the sill in three places and record the longest measurement (shortest for Vertical blinds)

Note: Do not take any deductions for clearance. The factory will take necessary deductions for a perfect fit. Measure each window individually as size variances are common. Record all measurements to the nearest 1/8".

outside mount

outside mount window treatments are mounted outside the window casing and provide better privacy and light control. Mount directly on the wall or to the window molding if you have it.• Measure width to be covered

• Determine if headrail will be on molding or above molding and mark the appropriate spot

• Measure height to be covered from headrail location to the top of the sill or lower if overlap is desired for light control and privacy and record measurement

Note: The factory makes no deductions on outside mount. Measure each window individually as size variances are common. Record all measurements to the nearest 1/8".
