The member show “Artistic Echoes” shows artists’ interpretations of famous pieces, alongside the originals. Also check out the Holiday Store for your gift giving needs! Music: Rick Leighton duo. 3 6:30 PM | Studio Mantra (40 E 5th Ave) Studio Mantra brings a fun twist to the ArtWalk with live models decked out in the theme of “Funk and SteamPunk,” including HairArt by Studio Mantra stylists, fashions by designer Cheri Moritz of Renegade Fashions, and makeup by Marisa Shute and Reina Allen. Also on display are etchings and photography by Robert Canaga (right). 4 7 PM | MECCA (449 Willamette St) In December, MECCA exhibits two shows: “MECCA Tribe Show,” a collection of art made by current and former board members, volunteers, and MECCA teachers, as well as a jewelry show. 5 7:30 PM | MODERN (207 E 5th Ave) MODERN presents an exhibit and sale/fundraiser featuring jewelry designs produced by current and former students from the Jewelry and Metalsmith Department of the UO’s School of Architecture and Allied Arts. The goal is to immerse the public into the process of jewelry design, from concept, sketch, prototypes, and evolutions to finished product. Revenue generated from exhibit sales will go to student designers and the Jewelry & Metalsmith Department. 33 Book Reading and Signing Event with Author A. Lynn Ash (Belle Sorelle, 488 Willamette St) Join author A. Lynn Ash for a reading and signing of her new book Vagabonda: Solo Camper Out West.
