• Most colleges have a world language requirement for acceptance or graduation. Typical language requirements to enter are a minimum of 2 years of the same language at the high school level. However, bear in mind that this is a minimum requirement for application. Most students who are accepted have a minimum of 3-4 years of the same language at the high school level!

• Another alternative is to take the Advanced Placement (AP) test. The AP test allows you to earn college credit without taking any class in college. How many credits you get depends on the college you attend and your score, but it could be up to the equivalent of an entire college class.
